 Vibration Level Meter VM-53/53A |
| VM-53/53A is a vibration level meter applicable to the standards specified
by the Weight and Measure Act and the Japanese Industry Standard C 1510:1995. The
unit is designed for measuring ground vibrations in order to assess vibration
pollution. Vibration level can be weighted according to human vibration
sensitivity characteristics. This measuring instrument consists of the
main unit and the 3-axis accelerometer PV-83C. In addition to the major functions of the predecessor model VM-52A, VM-53/53A offers auto store capability and sophisticated timer functions for automated measurement. Measurement results for three axes can be stored in the internal memory or on CompactFlash memory card (for VM-53A only). The unit is equipped with two backlit LCD panels. While the large main display shows the instantaneous measurement value, the sub display can show a 3-axis or single-axis level/time graph, a bar graph, menu screens, and a host of other useful information. In addition to separate X, Y, Z outputs for the three axis level signals, an interface connector for a printer or computer, and a comparator output are also provided. This makes the VM-53/53A suitable for a wide range of measurement system applications. Power can be supplied by IEC R14 (size "C") batteries or an AC adapter. |
