| We are pleased to inform that RION officially opened the China representative office in Shanghai on April 1st 2010 for the purpose of expanding the sound and vibration business. This is our second representative office in overseas after the Europe representative office in the Netherlands. |

Background of the set up: In recent years, the demand for our products is increasing in China, because manufacturers who are customers in our business area, such as automobiles, electric instruments, and electronic devices, have been increasing their factories in China. We have decided to setup the China representative office to give quick and fine support for those customers. We expect China market will rapidly expand, as the infrastructure will be improved with the EXPO 2010 in Shanghai as a trigger. We will develop the related products, market research, and technology interchange etc. Main jobs of the representative office: Providing technical support and product information for the customers. Related information collecting, technology interchange, and market research. We will develop our activities to expand our business area such as infrastructure relation, system maintenance, and safety control with our future plan to establish a service center. For the beginning year, we have a representative from the head quarter and also some local staffs in the office. |
