Meaning of function

Meaning of Abbreviation used in this website

Output limiter function

OPC Limits output sound through a compression system.
MOP Unnecessarily loud sounds are reliable suppressed.
OGC Adjust maximum output sound and gain.

Noise suppression functions

ANS Ambient noise is automatically suppressed to make speech more discernible.
NS Ambient noise can be suppressed using a switch.
FFNR FF (Fast and Fine) Noise Reduction which reduces both stationary noise and fluctuating noise effectively.
NR Noise Reduction which reduces stationary noise such as air conditioner or a fan effectively.
PNS Pulse Noise Suppressor which distinguishes speech and nose and reduces the impulse noise effectively.

Nonlinear adjustment functions

CRC Adjust small sounds to be more clearly and large sounds not to be annoyed.
HC Adjust high frequency small sounds to be more clearly and large sounds to be softer.
LC Adjust low frequency small sounds to be more clearly and large sounds to be softer.
TK, CK Adjusts the input sound pressure level at which the unit switches from linear amplification to compressed amplification.
HTK, HCK Adjusts the high frequency input sound pressure level at which the unit switches from linear amplification to compressed amplification.
LTK, LCK Adjusts the low frequency input sound pressure level at which the unit switches from linear amplification to compressed amplification.

Tone control functions

Tone H Low frequency sound or noise can be adjusted to reduce discomfort.
Tone L High frequency sound or noise can be adjusted to reduce discomfort and prevent feedback.

Gain control function

GAIN Gain can be adjusted for optimum volume.

Feedback control function

AFBC, AFBC+, AFBCα Automatic Feedback Canceller prevents feedback without reducing the high frequency gain.

Bright Sound

BS+ Bright Sound which expands the band frequency of hearing aid to 12 kHz.
You can hear the richer sound.

SSS Function

SSS Shaping Sound Spectrum helps to hear the sound more clearly.

Wind Noise

Detect wind noise and reduce it.

Data Logging

DL Data Logging which memorize the sound environment where the hearing aid is used.

Multi Memory Function

MM4, MM Four or two kinds of settings can be selected by responding to the environment.

“Either-way” Circuit

Either Hearing aid determines battery polarity by itself, allowing battery to be inserted in either direction.

Induction Coil (T)

TEL Catches signals from TV aid, tie-loop, telephone, etc. and reproduces them with the hearing aid.
MTB Balance of microphone input and induction coil input can be adjusted.

Audio Input

Audio Sound from TV, video or other sources can be input directly to hearing aid.

Setting Start time function

Start When turning on the hearing aid, the sound cannot be heard several seconds which can prevent the feedback while inserting of hearing aid into the ear.
Mute Setting the sound does not come out from the hearing aid (Mute) while removing hearing aid from the ear can prevent the feedback.

Start Memory Setting Function

SM When turning off the hearing aid, hearing aid memorizes selected memory. When turning on the hearing aid again, that memory start working again.

Beep sound for battery replacement

Beep Beep sound rings when battery is running out and need to be replaced.

Directionality

Adaptive, automatic, fixed Make speech in front easier to listen by reducing noised from side and behind.
Automatic speech detection Detect the sound from entire direction (360 degrees) and reduce the noise to hear the speech clearly.
Auricle effect Natural sound can be heard by reflecting the auricle effect.

Nano Coating

N. Coat Nano Coating on the hearing aid as well as the anti-sweat structure can protect the hearing aid from the perspiration and moisture.
