We’re the sole distributor of Rion products in the UK. We’ve been in the business for 23 years, since 2001, providing services like inspection, calibration, and technical support in addition to instrument sales and rentals. Our core products are sound level meters, vibration meters, and environmental monitoring systems. Our main customers are acoustics consultants, local government, and companies involved with construction. When our company was founded, there was another highly recognized brand of prod-ucts in the sound level meter field. My honest impression at the time was that it wouldn’t be easy for Rion to gain a larger market share over that brand. Still, I appreciated the quality and reliability of Rion’s products. Before founding ANV, I was an acoustics consultant and a user of Rion products. So I was fully aware of their su-periority in terms of durability, user-friendliness, and affordable pricing, not to mention accuracy. One of the biggest advantages of Rion products is the intuitive user interface of its instruments, which lets any beginner master the use of a sound level meter in less than five minutes. I always believed customers would embrace the products if we could properly present the bene-fits of the easy-to-understand user interface. So I’ve been working hard to promote awareness of the Rion brand from that perspective. We also adopted a multi-angle approach to cus-tomer support, including providing inspection and calibration and other maintenance services. That’s because we understood our customers needed a comprehensive support system that extended beyond the sale of a product. Thanks to these efforts, Rion became a well-known brand in the UK within six years or so since our founding. The main goal set at the outset was to make Rion the leading brand in the UK market. Today, we’re proud to say we’ve indeed achieved that goal. We believe we have to con-tinue making efforts from various approaches, including advertising on social media, to main-tain our position as the top brand. Our company has a solid relationship with Rion. I’ve never felt any barriers in our commu-nications. I feel like the continuous release of high-quality products by Rion has worked sig-nificantly to our advantage. In particular, Rion microphones are unparalleled in terms of value, performance, and quality compared to other brands. We believe that microphones could be a key factor in expanding our sales, especially in the UK industrial market. Adding the Norsonic lineup of instrumentation to ANV’s portfolio, from July 2024, has been an exciting step for-ward. Adding Norsonic’s integrated solutions for building/room acoustics to our comprehen-sive range of Rion products means that we can cover all of our core market’s instrumentation needs for environmental and building/room acoustics. I also believe that the combination of Rion and Norsonic products will help us expand our sales in the industrial market. I’m confident sales of Rion and Norsonic products will contin-ue to grow well into the future.Milton Keynes is located about 80 km northwest of London, and was built as a new city in the 1970s.
