Research Presentations/Review ArticlesWith the completion of construction on the new building (Rion Plaza), the area to the west of the main gate — previously used as a welfare facility — has been made available to the public as a communal space. This area faces the Tokyo metropolitan road that connects JR Kokubunji Station and Nishi-Kokubunji Station and is positioned at a junction to the city’s tourist attractions, including the Musashi Kokubunji historical site, Otaka-no-Michi, and Musashi Kokubunji Park. The path starting from the side of the main gate connects to the Otaka-no-Michi promenade behind the company building. This communal space has been open since November 2024.
