The Deaflympics is the Olympic Games for athletes who are deaf or hard of hearing. It’s held every four years, with both summer and winter games.BirdCLEF+ 2025 was an international compe-tition event held on Kaggle, the world’s largest data analysis competition platform.Masatoshi Osawa (left) and Ryo Sato (right)BirdCLEF+ 2025, held from March 10 to June 5, 2025, challenged participants to use AI to identify the species of various animals from audio recordings of their calls made in the El Silencio Natural Reserve in Colom-bia. Out of 2,025 participating teams, our team—comprising Masatoshi Osawa and Ryo Sato—placed fifth and won a gold medal.
