This compa-ny-wide tournament using original karuta cards created to commemorate Rion’s 80th anniversary in 2024 is intended to deepen understanding of our history and technologies while encouraging interactions between the many departments and different generations of employees. The Rion Karuta cards contain poems specially created by employees and illustrations by Yusuke Kitajima, the artist who creates the artwork for the cover of this magazine.
